INKY KITCHEN
This project was a dreamy creative pursuit for our adventurous and trusting clients. They wanted a colorful, textural kitchen with monochrome moments and special details. After much experimentation, we landed on a mix of blue-dyed oak cabinets, and golden stained oak. Saturated purple and platinum zellige tile melt into a soap stone perimeter countertop. The Magic Attic
We designed this top floor retreat to accommodate a growing family of six. Our full-time work-from-home clients wanted a space to focus, while the eldest of four girls needed room to grow. We loved the challenge of making this brand new space feel cohesive with the rest of the 1918 built home. PHOTOGRAPHY: RYAN MCDONALD BUILDER: MATT ROSS ARCHITECTS: COMPASS

KITCHEN CLASSIQUE!
We loved designing this colorful, functional, and cozy kitchen for an active family of 5. Custom hand painted tiles with meaningful motifs, and the combination of white oak and richly toned millwork and wallpaper is energizing and bright - just what this family needs to get going in the morning! We widened the doorway by 12” between the kitchen and the dining room, which allowed us to remove the need for an eat-in kitchen, without having to do a full open plan. Client requests included updates on everything, a better floor plan, and a vibe that works with their vintage aesthetic. Photography: Ryan McDonald Builder: Knead Construction

LAKE FOREST SHOWHOUSE
For our dressing room at the Lake Forest Showhouse benefiting we created a richly nostalgic space that drew inspiration from Edith Wharton’s boudoir at The Mount, and mid century men’s pajamas. This space was brought to life through an incredible collaboration with Trim Tech Designs, who crafted four distinct pieces of my own design: the vanity, the valet, the dressing screen and a painted table. Kitchen Glow Up
This kitchen project was all my leather and lace dreams come true. Our client wanted to make bold moves in a kitchen that felt airy and light, but still warm with a 70’s vibe. We mixed white and burgundy cabinetry with two different styles of countertops. PHOTOGRAPHY: RYAN THOMAS LAY
